Experiencing the ups and downs in the industry since 1993 has provided us with a keen sense of the investing and overall valuation marketplace. As an appraisal company (ZOTS Appraisal Services) we have appraised tens of thousand of homes for the past 15 years. We also have an “IFA” designation from the National Association of Independent Fee Appraisers, one of the largest appraisal organizations in the country. Currently are licensed and certified in three states, New Jersey, New York and Florida as well as manage appraisals throughout the country. We are also a member of the Passaic County Board of Realtors, as well as have access to every “MLS” system in the state. Besides lender work (sales and refinances), we also specialize in tax appeals, estate situations and divorces. We consider ourselves a “full service” appraisal company and can appraise pretty much anything, anywhere.

As an investment company, first with “ZOTS Investments” and then later with “Home Consulting Group”, we have bought many investments throughout the years. Some of the homes were bought as “buy and keep” and some to “fix and flip”. The rents were either government subsidized section 8 or straight market rents. In some cases we would set up lease option situations. We have acquired pre-foreclosure properties as well as buying with the older FHA 203k program which has now been denied to investors. We have seen it all and know what to look for.
